Poor boy!

So little Wy has his first cold! It's weird cause Noah J got one at this exact same age - its probably cause we take them anywhere and everywhere! He's sniffling, coughing, and sneezing, poor kid! He was just so cute asleep on my shoulder, in his dino jammies, while I was burping him that I made Josh take a picture. His stork bite on his eye looks really bad in that one picture - must be something about the camera/lighting cause it doesn't normally look like that!

Trying out the rocker!

So little Wyatt got to try out the rocker for the first time today. I was cooking while Noah J was napping and he was wide awake so I decided to give it a shot. I think he really liked it! He was actually reaching out for the toys on it, even though his arms were too short to reach! Can you even believe he's already a month old? It's going so quickly!

He thinks he's a three amigo!

Noah J is just in love with his new tiny guitar. He wants to bring it everywhere and just loves playing it. He was so funny today cause he shoved his tush into that teeny tiny play stroller and just sat in the living room playing his guitar. He was so tickled with himself!

The Birthday Party!

I'm finally getting the birthday party pictures up! Most of you who read this blog were there, so its not news to you, but for the rest of you, here's a little recap:

I'm so pleased with how the party turned out! It was a lot of hard work, but seeing how much the kids enjoyed it made it all worth it. First of all, I couldn't have possibly done it without my grandmother! She came over the day before and helped me watch the kids and then she cut up all of my fruits and veggies and got all the other food ready! What a great grandma, right?

The kids seemed to have lots of fun fishing and they got to keep their fish they caught in their buckets. Noah was doing not so great for the first half of the party - lots of crying and moaning. When it was time to eat he insisted on cake - he was screaming and pretty much ruining everyone's time, so we went ahead and cut him a piece for lunch. It was his birthday, right, so it was ok! And then when we sang to him he FLIPPED out - that's the picture of him crying.

Then he got much better - I guess he just had to get past that sleepy period. WE opened gifts and he got lots of cool stuff - tools, an aquadoodle, a lawnmower, a painting kit, a sprinkler thing, his 4 wheeler, another lawnmower, a picnic table, a ukulele, and a cool slide/climbing thing for the back yard. Then we set up G&G's bouncer that they bought a long time ago and the kids had a grand time jumping in it. Noah J's clothes got wet and we took his diaper off to get him a new one when he ran away from us and climbed into the jumper - he was SO funny jumping naked! And do you see that Wyatt got dressed up in the world's smallest polo shirt - isn't it just too cute??!!

Enjoying the gorgeous weather!

Hasn't it just been asbolutely beautiful these last two days here in Houston?? We have really been enjoying the weather and spent a bunch of time outside yesterday. It was so nice we put Wyatt in the grass to snap some pics - isn't he just adorable?

And of course we had to get some white trash baby pics of Noah J - he was playing with the hose and had to take his clothes off since they got wet! He even had a bandaid on his to complete the look (he got shots at the doctor's office). He just LOVES to make that face! He was 28 pounds and 35 inches - can you believe he's that big already??????? He just seems huge to us!

New toy!

Corrie and Mark came by to visit us this weekend and they brought Wyatt a new toy! He got SO excited when I put the mirror up for him to look at. After about 1 minute it was a bit too much and he started screaming, but it was fun while it lasted! Unfortunately Noah thinks that this toy is for him and he's very stressed that the sun and the bird don't come off for him to hold. He doesn't quite get the concept of Wyatt's toys and his toys. I think its going to be a while till he figures that one out!

They also brought Noah J this really cool puzzle - its one of those wooden puzzles, but the pieces have magnets on them. The pieces are all fish and it came with a fishing pole that you use to "catch" the pieces. Noah is just OBSESSED with it. Hopefully that means he will have fun at his party this weekend!

First real bath!

Since his umbilical cord finally came off, we got to give Wyatt his first real bath this week. He likes it SO much better than those darn sponge baths! He only gets upset when you make his head wet. He's just so cute cause he does these swimming movements with his arms and legs when we put him in. Crazy little boy still thinks he's in the womb!

Walking with Wyatt!

So every single day Noah and Daddy go for a walk around the block. Noah pushes one of the strollers and Daddy pulls the wagon so that when the little squirt gets tired he can pull both him and the stroller home. Well today Noah J decided it was time to take Wyatt with him for a walk. Since I'm feeling so much better we figured why not, so we put him in the carseat and off we went. Noah J was SO excited to push Wyatt - little Wyatt wasn't so sure of the whole thing. Our sidewalks are really bumpy! He was actually quite happy until I stopped to take the pictures! He wanted to keep on moving!

Wyatt had his 2 week check up today and the doc said he was perfect! He already weighs 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 21 1/4" long!!! We noticed a few days ago that half of the paperwork from the hospital said that he was 19 inches, and the other half said he was 20. So we're really not sure what he was, but after today we're assuming it was 20". There's no weigh he grew 2 1/4" in a week, right? The only scary part is that his head is already 1/4" bigger than Noah's was at 2 weeks!!! What is it with out kids and big heads? :-)

The world's cutest jammies!!

So a few months ago my Dad and Mom bought Wyatt these jammies and I have been so anxious to put him in them! With Noah J he couldn't wear footed jammies till he was like 4 weeks old cause he was just too tiny. Well this little chub fits right into them! They have a whale on them and they say "little squirt". Please tell me they're not the cutest thing you've ever seen (well, after my cute boys)!

Oma came to visit!

Adding to the list of visitors this week was Oma! Noah had SO much fun playing with her outside, and they even sat together on the patio and ate lunch. Oma couldn't sneak away without Noah forcing her to watch his dance video and dancing with him. He was tickled pink!

And yes, once again, my child is naked. If the kid gets a single drop of water on his clothes he insists on taking them off - which was OK in this case cause it was a billion degrees out!

Ummmm.........

I don't really have anything to say, but I figured the world would be a better place if I posted a pic of my newest cutie patootie all curled up in the swing. Isn't he a chubba bubba?? Thats all.

Visitors!

Wyatt and Noah have enjoyed the many visitors that have been coming by, and this week they were extra pumped cause they got to hang out with Uncle Aaron and Aunt Christy. At first Joseph was a bit unsure of his Daddy holding another baby, but before he left he was giving Wyatt big kisses. Too cute!

So far, so good!

So can I tell you that I think I have the two cutest little boys in the whole wide world? I am just too in love with them. We have had a surprisingly easy time so far and Wyatt has been just an angel. His only issue is that I'm having a hard time nursing with him - the kid is just no good at it! I'm just hoping he just needs time!

You can see that Noah is still obsessed with him, and even had a meltdown yesterday when Josh and I took him with us to my doctor's appointment. I kind of thought he got upset cause he believed that Josh and I were leaving and not coming back like we did last week, but he was just upset cause he thought we were getting rid of Wyatt. My mom said the whole time we were out he kept saying "gone, gone, gone." But when we came home he was SOOOOO excited about Wyatt and could have cared less about us. I guess its kind of confusing that somebody would come visit us and then actually stayed - nobody else has ever done that! :)

The bottom picture is of Noah sharing his toys with Wyatt. He went and got one of his fish and brought it to Wyatt to play. He even wanted to read him a book yesterday! Silly boy!
