Helping Daddy

Here's a few pics I snapped of Noah helping Josh get the thinset off the foundation. You can just imagine his delight - using a chisel and hammer on the floor! Fun, right? It's chaos around here!

Again??

Here is the other video I didn't realize I had ready from Santa's Wonderland. We're about 1 minute into the drive and Noah already had a question for us. It is such a typical Noah question! He does this about everything - he's taken one bite of a cookie and he asks, "Mom, when I done this cookie can I have another one?" I always tell him to take it 1 step at a time and he always says, "So can I?" What a pill!

Wow!!!

I was just going to upload a video and I realized I had a few laying around that I had already loaded but never posted! So they are a bit late, but that doesn't make them any less cute.

Back in December when we went to Santa's Wonderland Josh made some video in the truck. And here's the big deal - we actually got Wyatt speaking on tape! It's just one word, but that's a big deal for him! It's at the very end!

The cutest outfits ever!

Again, I'm going to admit I'm embarrassed that I'm just now blogging Christmas. I just keep putting it off - it takes so long to upload the photos it makes me nuts! I just had to share a few pics of the boys in their cute Christmas Eve clothes. Aren't they so handsome? And they didn't even put up too much of a fuss about the collar, which was a relief!

I was horrified when the week before Christmas I finally pulled the clothes out to wash them, only to realize that they were all HUGE!! I bought them in October and don't know what I was thinking. And of course they were past the return date on the receipt, but luckily the nice Crazy 8 people let me exchange them, even though I did have to drive to Memorial City Mall to find half of it. But isn't is it so worth it for this much cuteness! You know how much I love me some argyle. And the gray striped pants?! Please! I'm bummed I didn't get a nice pic of the boys together - it just makes them both nuts and I wanted everything to run as smoothly as possible!

the Barbie jeep

The great thing about having the same aged kids as your neighbors, is that on Christmas morning they feel like they got 2 sets of presents! Noah was so excited about Maddie's Barbie jeep - I think he would have driven it all morning.

The pictures pretty much speak for themselves - he insisted on wearing his boots, and I really think they complete the look! I also love that in that one picture he's got his arm around Maddie - how funny is that?!

My beautiful baby noodle

So I'm trying to catch up on a few random pictures from December that I love so much but never go to share, so just bare with me this week!

Josh took these of little Wy Christmas day while he was eating lunch. I have no idea why he's naked. But he's just so pudgy and beautiful, isn't he? In the last picture he's giving the "all done" sign to let us know he's ready to get down. I love it!

New Year's Eve!

p

OK, I'm going to admit that finally posting our New Year's eve pictures now, the last day of January, is pretty bad. And the saddest thing is that I didn't ever post Christmas pictures either cause I kept putting it off! Now it seems ridiculous to write about it!

We had dinner with the folks and then came home to do fireworks. You can see what Noah thought of it - he sat in the back of the Sorento (along with our stuff from Target!) with the window open. He would crouch down and hide from the ones he didn't like - it was pretty funny! Of course Wy loved it and didn't mind the noise at all! Josh made a fire in the firepit so we sad around it on the driveway and watched the show. Lots of fun!

And to end the night we had our friends/neighbors over and we had a few drinks and played Scattergories and Taboo! My 2 favorite games! And shockingly, I let the kids stay up till midnight! You know my kids have never been awake after 10 pm, and are in bed by 7:30 most nights, so this was a big deal! I never thought Wyatt would make it, but he could have kept going! Shocker of all shockers, Noah was the grumpy gus who could hardly make it!
