Feed the birds!

Besides airplanes and flags, Noah J just LOVES birds. Whenever he sees one he points and says "gob gob gob gob." He assumes that since a turkey is a bird and he makes that noise, that all birds say gobble gobble. There is just no use in trying to correct him, so we just have to let it go! So because of his obsession, we picked up this bird feeder for only 2 dollars at Lowes a few weeks back. We hung it off of the patio cover in the back and Noah enjoys watching the birds fly to it from the back window.

The only problem is that these birds are STARVING! We fill it up and within a few hours its empty. And then Noah points to it and says "gob gob" and does the sign for eat. Then he says "da da da da da" cause he knows Daddy is the only one who can reach to get it down/hang it up. Poor Josh is constantly getting this thing down for Noah. But we used the last of the seed we had today, so Noah AND the birds better get used to it being empty for a while - or else Momma better get a job!

My boys

There is not much more that I love than when my two boys are doing the same thing at the same time! Noah J wants so much to be just like Daddy, and today he got to have fun with his new shovel. We bought him this shovel, rake, and hoe set at Wal-Mart (for the low cost of 1.96!) yesterday, and today he got to brake them in! We have been working at pulling out our Bouganvilla plants along the shed for over a year now, and today was the day they met their doom. Noah only slowed us down a little - but he was so cute helping out you just couldn't get mad!

Fun with hoses!

Noah J discovered the joys of cleaning cars this week! We went to my parents Friday night and he got to help Grandpa wash Grandma's car, and he had so much fun we decided to give it a shot at home (and of course our cars were filthy!). Noah really had a great time, Daddy was just a little annoyed with the whole situation. It was so hard for Noah to push the nozzle that he couldn't really focus on aiming it at the right place, so it was often on the wrong part of the car, or straight onto Daddy. But now our cars are squeaky clean (well, except for all that terrible pine tree pollen!)!!
