Our toothless wonder!

Wyatt has had to sit by and watch Noah lose teeth for years now and it has been killing him!!  But no more!!!  He finally has started to lose them all at once, just like Noah did years ago.  It started with just the one on top....

And he was as cute as can be.  But can you see how the other one is just hanging there kind of crooked?  He wouldn't let me pull it out but it had a mind of its own and finally just fell out!  And he looked like this....

Even cuter!  And then he lost one on the bottom the very next morning.  And this is the look he is currently rocking....

Can you tell he loves it?! 

He even got lucky one night when the Tooth Fairy was so busy she didn't make it till ten the next morning and she felt so bad she left $5.00!!!    That Tooth Fairy is crazy!

Brotherly love!

My little boy and my littlest boy certainly have a special bond!  Wyatt was thrilled when Owen was born and looked so much like him!  We were too!  Wyatt is always sad that he is the only person in the family that has yellow hair and he thinks he looks "different" than everybody else.  So to have a mini-me is something he needed!  They even have the same hair growth pattern at the front of their heads.  I have always loved how Wyatt's hair grows to the side up from and Owen's is growing in the same exact way.  It's adorable!

Wyatt is always there to help me with this little guy.  He is the best at holding him during times when he's crying to be held and I'm trying to get stuff ready to get out the door on time.  How on earth could I manage this without the older boys to help me? 

Math boys!

"Mom, come take a picture of how cute we are!!"  How can I say no to that?  Of course they are cute!  Evidently Wyatt thought it was photo worthy so here they are making an appearance on the blog now!  In our prep for Owen we moved a ton of furniture around and created a little game/puzzle nook behind the couch.  Today the boys decided to do math here together.  They were pretty tickled with it and then had the brilliant idea to share a blanket.  Cause you know, when it is pushing 100 degrees you really need a blanket. :) Although this baby is making me so hot I've got the air cranked pretty low!

I made them take another pic looking like they were actually doing work.  I love how Wyatt put his hand on his head like he was super duper concentrating.  These guys crack me up!  They were actually pretty cute helping each other on their stuff.  Trying to get as much school accomplished as we can in these last weeks before Owen joins us!

My secret obsession!

So I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with me.  I don't know why I do this.  I don't know why it makes me happier than almost anything.  But it does!  It is very rare for a kid to get to sleep in our bed.  If you are sick and Josh is at work then it is allowed.  OR if you catch me in a super sleepy state in the middle of the night when Josh is at work I might tell you to climb on in.  BUT there is a catch.  They have to let me photograph them!!  You can see that I started with just Wyatt cause I knew he wouldn't freak out about the flash, but I've gotten braver about angering the others!  Ha!  Feast your eyes on these little nuggets of hilarity from the past year!

Our little Punzel!

Annie's favorite princess is Rapunzel, by far!  She was so cute cause we had a girl's night when the boys went to the movies and she begged for some princess hair.  Princess hair?!  I literally had to google it and watch some Youtube videos to figure it out. And what I figured out was that with the 28 hairs on little girl's head it was gonna be pretty hard!  She's so, so sweet, though, and just loved what I came up with.  So thankful she's not too demanding yet!  She even had me fix her Rapunzel doll's hair the same way with a ribbon and all.    She really was so tickled!

The boys came home and we all went out to Chick-fi-A for dinner, which really is a treat to them cause we never eat inside there.  I guess the Disney trip was still heavy on their minds cause Wyatt was so sweet and told Annie he wanted to bring his Disney World autograph book to the restaurant to make this a "character meal."  Now you know my first response is NO cause those books are just for that trip but it was such a sweet gesture and made her feel so important I kept my mouth zipped!  He brought her a Sharpie and she was in hog heaven.  See that precious little smile?  Love that my boys know how to make this girly feel important!

Wy's birthday!

My little boy is officially 7!  Hard to believe we thought he would our baby boy forever and now we're having another one!  And this big guy is gonna be a great big brother!

We started off the morning with a decorated kitchen, name pancakes and orange julius, per our b-day tradition.  But of course we had to start off with presents!  In the past couple of years we have cut down to just 3 gifts for each kid.  One from us, and the other two from their siblings.  It is nice cause the kids know exactly what to expect and it is easier on me!  This year Noah got him this nerf ball he has been wanting.  You know Wyatt has been a fan of balls since he was a wee one so this was perfect for him.

From us he got the Nerf gun he has been wanting and was super excited.  So much of what we have for the boys are shared toys so he was pumped to have one just for himself.

Rosie got him a Turbo game for his 3ds which was a huge hit.  It was really sweet cause she honestly picked it out all by herself and knew this is something he would love. 

We finished up the morning with finally getting around to breakfast and then heading out to meet family for a special lunch.  Both the boys bdays fell right around our Disney trip this year so we didn't have big parties.  I personally loved this, although I'm sure the boys would tell you differently!  Ha!  Love this little guy!
