Here, have a cookie!

So my child who never ever shares decided to give his little brother a cookie today. He'd never had one before, but it was just a little shortbread one so I figured, why not, right? If Noah was going to share, I was going to encourage it! As you can imagine he LOVED it and searched the bottom of the wagon for crumbs.

2 new teeth!

So little Wyatt Cade got his top two teeth in this week! So he's been sticking his tongue out and running it along those new teeth a lot. He's such a ham! Here he is feeling them while riding Big Blue!

Alligators!

Like I was saying a few weeks ago, we are having an ever harder time trying to fill all the minutes of the day with activities. You know Noah J does one thing for about 2-1/2 minutes before he's ready to move on to the next, so that makes for about 562 different things each day. It's exhausting!!!! So I've been doing some activities with him to coordinate with the books we're getting at the library and he seems to really like it. This week we made an alligator to go with the Mr. & Mrs. Green books that we checked out. He really loves them! I think he'll probably get upset when we return them in the morning, but hopefully he will enjoy butterflies!

I love fuzzy pictures!

So I must have a billion of these pictures between the two boys, but I just love them!

I got down on the floor to snap some pics of my little boy and he just came crawling at me and would not leave the camera alone! I forgot how little crawling monkey's can be! He is really starting to show his personality. He crawled to find me in the house today and pulled up on my pants and wanted me to hold him. It was the first time he's ever done anything like that and it was just so sweet! He's such a little bug!! We just love our little Wy bear.

Momma, make me mohawk!!

Since we taught Noah J what a mohawk is he has been obsessed with it!! So every night after his bath his begs, "momma, make me mohawk!". Then he has to go show his Daddy and then we always comb it back down and he says, "make my hair beautiful" once it looks nice again! Hambone!

Itz

We took a trip back to Itz with Granny last week and the boys had a blast. Last time we went Noah didn't want to ride anything, but was thrilled with the newest ride they had - a train! He got to drive it all by himself and it was on a track, so of course we spent over 40 points on just that train! Wyatt even rode some of the rides with parental assistance, and he especially liked eating an ice cream cone!

Painting!

Noah J and I were searching for something to fill the seemingly never ending daytime hours, so we decided to paint! I never do stuff like this with him, cause its such a mess, but Wy was down for a couple of hours, so we pulled out the plastic tablecloth and got to work. Noah LOVED it, but I definitely think I need to get some more supplies to play with. It was going great until I got a cup of water to wash the brushes in, and he went crazy. That's when he started putting his hands in the paint and fingerpainting! I saw some paint still in his ear this afternoon!

Mango Madness!

So, I discovered this past week that I'm not as sneaky as I think I am. And perhaps that my son is more hard headed than I ever thought!

When I saw this post on Greenlite Bites, I knew that I had to show it to Noah. He loves to watch videos on the computer, and I thought he would be thrilled with the little boy. So I bought us a mango, showed him the video, and asked if he wanted to do it. Of course he was way pumped so we ran straight to the kitchen to get started. He loved watching as I cut it up, but what do you think he did when he tried it?? Thats right, he just spit it out! Uggghhh! So frustrating, right? But I was able to catch these cute pictures and put the mango in a smoothie for Josh, so I guess it was all worth it!

Night out with mom and dad!

After we went to the zoo we continued Noah's big day with a special no-Wyatt treat. We hadn't been out with just Noah since Wy was born 9 months ago, so it was really special. We took Noah to go see Sesame Street Live: When Elmo Grows Up. I bet you can't think of a better way to spend $100! :)

We took Noah to dinner and he was cracking me up dipping his entire roll into the little tiny dish of butter. A boy after my own heart! You know how Noah hates group singing/clapping/etc so we were nervous about it, but he really seemed to enjoy himself. He absolutely did not want us to sing/clap along with anything, but he liked just listening. We got the cheap tickets but they were really great seats, and it went pretty quickly. Noah was unhappy though, every single time Elmo left the stage. Just like on Sesame Street, he thinks that Elmo should be on ALL the time. His favorite part was the song with the big train, of course! We will definitely take both the boys next year!

A visit to the zoo!

Hasn't the weather just been fantastic? In honor of such a beautiful day we took the boys to the zoo on Thursday and it was gorgeous. A little cool when we left, but absolutely perfect for our trip. Unfortunately, the animals just didn't get that it was nice and they should run around! In some respects it was a pretty disappointing trip, at least for Noah J. The train isn't working for 2 months for renovations, they were waxing the floor of the carousel, the otters weren't there, and the lions and tigers exhibits were under construction so the animals were nowhere to be found. But he did get to see his beloved elephants, even though that area is also under construction.

The top picture is of Wyatt SO excited because of the aquariums. Noah J was pretty pumped, too. He watched Finding Nemo for the first time this week (he had seen portions of it, but wasn't interested before), so he was TOTALLY pumped about the fish. He found a Nemo fish and screamed and screamed. Noah also loved the new playground that wasn't there last time, and also was excited by the other objects in the children's zoo. He especially loved this log that had little flaps you could lift up and inside of them were snakes, caterpillars, and various other critters.

While we were making our way back to the car (a really long trek cause the children's zoo is at the very back) we stopped at the pond out front and when we did we caught Wyatt catching some z's! He was so cute all crumpled up and his face on the snack tray. We kept trying to lean the stroller back for him to lay down, but he just refused. I guess he thought this was more comfortable! We dressed him in the same shirt that Noah had on for his first zoo trip (which also happens to be our very first blog post ever!). Check it out!!

I'm just hanging with my dad!

Here are two of my favorite boys watching the Super Bowl together. Noah was so excited that we filled our plates and brought them in the living room to eat. We were supposed to go to my parents, but my mom got sick so we had an impromptu watching party here at home, just the 4 of us. I made some Baked Potato Dip (sooo good) and we tried Rachael Ray's Buffalo Chicken Pizza on some homemade whole wheat pizza dough. Both of them were SO delicious. OF course Noah's favorite part was the chips! We NEVER have chips at home so its a big deal. Wyatt also got a special treat - instead of Cheerios as his appetizer he got peach stars!! Mmmm!

Noah was just a Daddy's boy tonight. As soon as Josh sat on the floor Noah ran and got his plate and his cup and sat down right next to him and copied everything Josh did. And he repeatedly proclaimed "Gig 'em, Aggies!" He just doesn't understand that there are other football teams other than the Aggies. It makes us laugh! We had a great night with our sweet boys!

My little scoundrel!

I don't know why, but there is nothing cuter in the world than the first time you go into your little ones room and they greet you sitting up! It doesn't seem like a big accomplishment, but when they have been on their back every single time they get up for 9 months, and then all of a sudden they are sitting up like a big boy, its just so adorable! So of course I ran and got my camera to take some pics of my little Wy. He's growing up so quickly! He was so incredibly proud of himself that he was just sitting their screaming and smiling and flapping his arms up and down. As soon as Noah heard all of the commotion he had to come join in the fun, which only made Wyatt happier. My sweet boys! I love love love the picture of Wy with his hand/arm up to his mouth. Its just so sweet it makes my heart hurt. I look at it and it just brings tears to my eyes cause I love that little boy so much. I know this will be one of the things I always remember about Wy being a baby - he always has the back of his hand/arm to his mouth to hold in his passy or just to rub his face. I love it.

Oh yeah, and for a little time warp, click here to see Noah J in the same onesie. Craziness!!!

Joseph's birthday!

OK, so these are from weeks ago, but I finally downloaded them so now I'm sharing them with you. Joseph had his birthday party at the Little Gym, so the boys had tons of fun playing with all of the equipment. Noah had a blast, but had a really difficult time when Joe opened his presents. He just didn't understand why they weren't for him! And you know how he is about sharing! I have no clue what we were thinking, but we didn't set the camera to action shots, so most of the pics came out blurry. Here are a handful of the best ones. Check out Wyatt on those bars! A gymnast in the making, I think! ;) You can see how tuckered/stressed Noah was by the end of the party in that last picture. He looks so depressed about the toys it makes me laugh!
