Natural Science Museum
I didn't realize it, but I'm way behind on my blogging! I've got tons of pictures/events to post, so I'm trying to catch up.
We went to the Natural Science Museum last weekend, cause Noah has decided that he's way into dinosaurs. The crazy thing is that I think Wyatt loved them even more than Noah! He would jump up and down and point every time we came near them! Noah did really like seeing the animal scenes they had set up, and he also loved the stones and jewels section. They had a jewel vault set up, that was completely dark inside, other than for single lights on the jewels, and he really liked that part. He was super pumped that one of them looked like a Christmas tree! He was cracking us up, too. He told my mom, "It's so dark in here that I can't even see my one finger!"

Fun at the Downtown Aquarium
We took a trip with Granny to the aquarium yesterday, and the kids just had a blast. We went in the evening and it was really nice - we were there for 5 hours!! Noah was really excited that we stayed until dark and all the lights came on all the rides. We rode the merry-g0-round (or gerry round as Noah calls it), the train, the ferris wheel (shocking, right?), and then played in the fountains. We at dinner there too, which was really good. Can you believe we got Noah J up into the ferris wheel? He said he was scared, but I kind of think he liked it. I think I was more scared than he was! We took a billion pictures, and loved about a hundred of them. Here are the best!

It's not a fort, it's a cave!
We were looking for something to fill the last hour before bathtime yesterday, so I made the kids a fort on the kitchen table with some quilts. They were thrilled to death, but Noah was quick to inform me that it wasn't a fort, it was a cave. He loved playing Buzz Lightyear underneath it. In that one picture where he's holding the toy he's saying "To infinity and beyond!!" He was cracking us up. He even insisted on eating breakfast on top of the cave this morning, and as I type, all of the boys are coloring underneath it. What fun!

A present for Lily
We stopped off at the petstore tonight cause Noah was just desperate to see some fish, but came home with stuff for Lilycat. Noah was so excited cause I told him he could give the new scratcher to her. We were walking back to the car and I asked him, "Noah, do you love Lily?" I asked cause you know the two of them don't really get along like Lily and Wyatt do. So he says, "Yeah, mom. I love Lily SO MUCH." It was just the sweetest thing ever, the way he said it. SO we got home and he ran in saying "Widdy, I got a present for you!" And he was just so tickled that she hopped right on (thanks to the catnip!) and then he got out her new brush and she actually let him brush her. This from the cat that runs in fear of Noah J. Ohhh, makes my heart hurt cause he was just so sweet with her!

My big boys
Fun in Sealy
A couple of weekends ago we went to my cousin's high school graduation party out in Sealy, and we had a great time. The boys just LOVED their huge yard to play in. Of all things, their favorite part was some sand that my uncle had dumped into some holes to fill up so nobody would trip on it. You know, just a spot of sand in the middle of grass. Can you believe that entertained these boys for hours?? If I knew it was that easy I would have done it a long time ago! Even Wyatt got in on the action.

Arrrrrrg, matey!!
Is this the cutest pirate you've ever seen? Noah J has been into the idea of dressing up lately, but its tough to find boy dress up clothes - you can't just walk into Target and get them. But we went to Toys 'R Us today and were able to pick up this adorable pirate! He is having so much fun running around the house saying, "Arrrrrrrrr, matey!" My only problem now is not running back to the store to buy a bunch more - they had tons of cute ones!!

Our big boy!
We decided it was time to move Wy out of his highchair and into a booster seat at the table. Noah was always obsessed with the fact that their chairs had to be so close together that they were touching, and then Wyatt would always use his feet to push the chair and then Noah would flip out - OK, lets just say there was chair drama! So we got him a booster this week and look at how excited he was!! There's not much cuter than looking at that little pud face while you're eating breakfast!
