More park pictures!
Here are a handful of more pictures from the park with Maddie 2 weeks ago. I can't wait till it cools down just a smidgen more and we will go back! Fun!
I love the picture of the boys at the bottom of the slide. I was trying to get them to smile, but Wyatt just kept turning around and trying to climb back up. Noah's holding that big stick and he has such a mischievous smile on his face - it looks like Wyatt might not know what's coming! Actually, Noah and Maddie were using that stick to get rid of the bad dragons that were in the park. And then they made a "fire" with all of the sticks that had fallen down because of the storm. Noah said they were roasting marshmallows. YUM!

Wyatt at the park
So with the electricity out and everything closed we decided to go to the park last week. Sara took us to this new one in Tomball we had never been to and the kids had a blast. Here's Wyatt on the tire swing - he was cracking us up!

Mirror mirror on the wall!
Once again, these are old pictures I'm just now getting around to posting. These are from August 27th, so you can see I'm really behind!
We invited Adeline and Emerson to come with us to Discovery Green, and the kids had a blast. This time they had this new mirror covered gazebo and the kids loved it. They danced around and thought it was so special. Wyatt even got in on the action since he finally decided to walk! It was really pretty how the light reflected up on the kids. I'm sad we didn't get more pictures!
I'll post more DG pics later in the week!

New toys!
So these are actually from the 3rd, but I'm just now getting around to posting them. This week has been crazy with the hurricane, and I feel like doing something completely normal, so I decided to blog!
Speaking of Ike, the kids were troopers. Especially Noah J. As soon as the electricity started flashing around 1 am he came into our bed, but then basically just slept through the whole thing. Every time something hit our window he would wake up and then roll right back over and start snoozing. Now Wy C was another story. Once the electricity went out for good around 4 am he refused to sleep anywhere but in his Daddy's arms in a chair. So Josh was pretty exhausted the next day! But overall, it went better than we ever expected, especially since they didn't make Josh come into work.
So back to the pictures, here's Noah showing off his new cars his Grandpa got him that day. I don't know if I've ever mentioned it here, but Noah sleeps with about 100 toys in his bed. He has to make sure each and every one is there. Sometimes there's not even enough room for him the bed and I have to start throwing things off! Anyway, he was hamming it up so we grabbed the camera and took some pics!

New jammies!
I picked these jammies up for the kids at the Carters outlet last week for our camping trip. But I just couldn't resist putting Wy in his footed ones, and I also needed to see if they fit. Do you see how that sausage boy is just poured into it? I could hardly zip it up! I don't know what I was thinking buying that size. Once Noah saw Wyatt in his jammies he started jumping around and asking for his, so we went ahead and let them sleep in them. I would have been dying and miserably hot in them, but they didn't seem to notice!

Meet our new cat!
I just had to post this cause it cracked me up more than anything. After dinner and bath's tonight we ran over to Walgreens to rent a movie and get some popcorn. I brought Noah J in with me and promised him he could get something special, and he picked out this hello kitty marshmallow pop thing. So he ate it in the car and then when he got home he was pretty much done with it. So he starts calling, "Lily!! Lily!" And I ask him what he's doing. And he told me he thought Lily might want to eat his marshmallow. I was cracking up and told him Lily doesn't like marshmallow. So he goes, "Ok, I see if our new cat want to eat it." And then he ran into the kitchen and put the marshmallow on the floor in front of the halloween cat we bought at Lowe's yesterday. When Josh came into the kitchen he immediately got mad at Noah - "Noah, did you put your candy on the floor??!" I had to rush in and explain that the cat was eating it. We couldn't stop laughing so I made Josh run and get the camera. I love my crazy boy.
